I am 17 and a junior in high school. Being a junior means tons of work and tough classes since this year is kind of a big deal for applying to colleges. I guess I am just you average teenager except I really don’t even know what that means. I am just doing my best to be myself (whoever that is) and enjoy life as best I can when I’m not stressed and exhausted from school. I’m pretty bad at describing myself in a nutshell but below are some basic likes of mine to sort of figure out who I am at least on the surface… any deeper than that will probably be found by reading this blog 
Music:
Jack Johnson- He keeps me from going crazy, some times we all need a little Hawaii!
Coldplay- Possibly the best band ever! There’s nothing else I can really say
and then tons of other bands/people like Arcade Fire, Death Cab for Cutie, Florence + the Machine, Ray LaMontagne, and this list goes on…
Favorite Colors ( you know you have them!): purple and orange
Movies: Shakespeare in Love, Titanic, Garden State, Up,… I like many movies ranging from embarrassingly cheesy (Ex: A Walk to Remember) to legitimately good!
TV: Dawson’s Creek (the original teen drama and still the best), True Blood, Boardwalk Empire, Battlestar Galactica (ok so maybe I’m a nerd but I’m proud of it!), I don’t really watch much TV these days so its a short list
Favorite Books: A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Into the Wild, all the Sookie Stackhouse novels (these are the books True blood is based on)

I love a walk to remember and the titanic! to me honest my favorite is the notebook…i’m all for romance!!!
